such fine weather for camping and music

Friday, April 24th, 2009

Hello there. We are happy to get back to playing this weekend after about a month off. We’re even happier to be playing our first festival of the season too! Some Kind Of Jam 4. And we’re super happy that we have some great weather coming our way for the weekend!

It all goes down in Kempton, PA Friday-Sunday, it’s about a half hour west of Allentown. There are 40+ bands on multiple stages plus camping. Tickets are still available at the gate. MP’s set is 2:00pm on Saturday on the main stage. We’re going to be a six piece band too!

So dust off you sleeping bags and tents and head on out to Kempton.

Also, we should put out the word that we are playing every Thursday in May at the Blinkin’ Lincoln in Manayunk. We have some great bands joining us each night.

Kick off your festival season with Jibberjazz Productions….
Some Kind Of Jam 4 will be a full-weekend musical extravaganza featuring 25 bands, 2 stages, late-night music, light shows, kids activities, food & craft vendors, fire performances, bonfire jams, and a sprawling 60 acre campground. This year’s line-up promises to be the most diverse and exiting assortment of bands in the history of Jibberjazz.

Join us for a weekend of camping and music in a hassle-free, BYOB environment. Both stages are fully protected from the elements of weather. The outdoor stage rests beneath a huge pavilion which extends over the audience, while the indoor stage is inside a spacious banquet hall for a more intimate experience. Patrons may camp with their vehicles and each stage is in close proximity to the camping area

Other acts include Wissahickon Chicken Shack, Dan Hubbard and more. Plus there will be a fiddle contest! It’s $7 for the day plus $10 if you want to camp.
